Tomorrow the Sherpa leadership development team gather for their 3rd retreat weekend this year. Please continue praying for the participants this Saturday as they explore how they can listen to the culture and community and respond appropriately. They will be engaging with and listening to how we learn from the stories of Paul's missionary journeys.

This weekend is the second Sherpa retreat, where they will focus on Leadership formation, and what it means in thinking and practise for leadership to be a function that emerges from discipleship. The intent is to look at how our identity, purpose and priorities are shaped, and how we in turn shape those around us. Please pray for God to continue to move in the lives of this group as they journey and learn together over the weekend.

Today as State Youth Games comes to a close, join us in giving thanks to God for a fantastic weekend. We pray for safe travel as everyone makes the journey home.

Join us in giving thanks to God for another big weekend of State Youth Games for Churches of Christ in SA with over 300 people in attendance. Pray that as young people interact with a weekend of sport and fun, that they will have a profound encounter with God through the community and worship during the weekend.

Tomorrow leaders from different churches will meet for the first Sherpa retreat. Pray that there would be a strong sense of Gods presence as they share faith stories, and dig into what it means to be continually shaped by Gods story as disciples and leaders.

Please pray for Adrian and the team today as the first Sherpa weekend launches. Pray they might be enriched by their encounter with God together, strengthened in their leadership and begin to build strong relationships for ministry moving forward.

We are currently in the process of a review of South Australian Churches of Christ. A number of people have said that they are praying for our Churches and the review process. However, we want to also be intentional in the prayer support for our Churches and the review. Therefore we are looking for people to be Prayer Partners of the review.
